CHEATERS WELCOME! Here's an EASY-Cheater recipe, or TRY my HOMEMADE  version for both types of gourmet visionaries!

EASY

Ingredients

1 Box of your favorite ooey, gooey brownie mix
2 Cups white chocolate chips
1 1/2 Cups of your favorite chopped nuts (pecans, cashews, peanuts) I love mixing them!
1 1/2 Cups Caramel Sauce (cheaters find it in the ice cream toppings section of your grocery store).... Or find my homemade salted caramel using the search tool above)!

Directions

Mix brownies as directed...... Bake for 1/2 the time on box.  Melt white chocolate chips in microwave for 1 minute, stir & if not melted...microwave again for 10 seconds at a time until you get the desired consistency! Pour over 1/2 baked brownies, add caramel sauce & chopped nuts & bake for the remaining time..... Less 5 minutes for rich, gooey brownies! Viola.... Gourmet brownies all your own!

I sometimes add popped popcorn on top!

Homemade Version

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate

PLUS.....for topping you'll also need same as above..............

Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius.

2. Melt the butter and lightly grease a pan of your liking (I used an 8x8 for thicker brownies).

3. In a large bowl; combine the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda.

4. In another large bowl; combine the sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

5. Once combined beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each until thoroughly blended.

6. Gradually add in the flour mixture to the egg/sugar mixture.

7. Toss the chocolate chips in a little flour. (The flour will keep them from sinking to the bottom of the pan.).

8. Mix the chocolate chips into the batter.

9. Bake for 1/2 way 10-14 Minutes!  Add toppings just like directed as above....then bake remaining 10 minutes. FORGET THE TOOTHPICK TEST.....IT WILL NEVER COME OUT CLEAN!

AS ALWAYS..........HAVE FUN!!!
